    • Lowlight, the furniture won’t be delivered for 3 days
    • Dorothy is right, there is no place like home.

Our overall favorite place was Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park.  The weather was rainy the first few days which made the sunshine seem so wonderful.  Hiking along the Presque Isle River with 3 waterfalls and numerous cascades was a treat. The campground siting on Lake Superior made it easy for me to spend lots of time on the lakeshore enjoying the water and view.

Our favorite trail Presque Isle River Trail, I am a sucker for all that moving water.

Our favorite day in August was renting a pontoon boat and Lily Pad to take Melissa, Mark, Braden, Evan, Kayla, and Claire on a 5 hour of Lake Wissota.  The kids had a great time during 2 swim breaks especially with the Lily Pad to romp on.  We all enjoyed the boat ride and Braden drove a boat for the first time.

My favorite people picture is of all the grandkids on the lily pad.  My favorite nature is a close-up of the Presque Isle River
