Wal Mart

Shoal Creek Campground , Well that was the plan.  We drove to the campground, 

checked-in went up to the site, it was in the group area, had no table or fire ring,

and was impossible for us to get our rig into the site.

So we called and asked for another site, the only site open was another group site

same situation.  Did a lot of maneuvering to get out of a lollipop shaped road.

Went to the office and was given a full refund.

But now it's 4:50 pm on a Saturday and we don't have a campsite.

We made calls to Harvest Hosts in the area, all booked.

Called a few campgrounds, all full.

Drove to a Wal-Mart, called inside to verify it was okay to park overnight,

"Sure, trucks and Rvs do it all the time."

Oh boy, staying at the WalMart in Gainesville, GA.

Who is jealous of us now?

I kept looking for a site for tomorrow and found a single site available for tomorrow night.

Here's hoping it's nicer than the Wal-Mart.
